01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
02 - Place the trimmed asparagus in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
03 - Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus, then sprinkle with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Toss gently to coat all spears evenly.
04 - Roast in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the asparagus is tender and slightly browned at the tips.
05 - Immediately remove from the oven and sprinkle with the grated Parmesan cheese while still hot. Serve promptly as a side.
