Frozen Yogurt Berry Granola Bars (Printable)

Creamy frozen yogurt bars packed with fresh berries and crunchy granola for a cool, healthy treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 2 cups granola (preferably low sugar; gluten-free if desired)
02 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
03 - 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil

→ Yogurt Layer

04 - 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (or dairy-free alternative)
05 - 2–3 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
06 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Berry Topping

07 - 1 cup mixed fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries)
08 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

# How-to Steps:

01 - Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
02 - In a medium bowl, mix granola, honey (or maple syrup), and melted coconut oil until combined.
03 - Press the granola mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the base.
04 - In a separate bowl, blend Greek yogurt, honey (or agave), and vanilla extract until smooth.
05 - Spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the granola base.
06 - Scatter the mixed berries over the yogurt layer. If desired, sprinkle with chia seeds for extra texture and nutrition.
07 - Place the pan in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm.
08 - Once frozen, use the parchment overhang to lift the slab out of the pan. Place on a cutting board and let sit for 5–10 minutes to soften slightly. Slice into bars using a sharp knife.
09 - Store bars in an airtight container in the freezer; serve frozen or slightly thawed.

# Expert Pointers:

01 -
  • They taste like dessert but pack protein from Greek yogurt and fiber from granola and berries
  • My kids actually ask for these instead of store-bought bars now, which feels like a major parenting win
02 -
  • Press the granola layer harder than you think is necessary. A loose base crumbles when you try to slice it.
  • Let the frozen slab soften for at least 5 minutes before cutting. Trying to slice rock-hard frozen bars will frustrate you and could warp your knife.
03 -
  • Run your knife under warm water between slices for cleaner cuts that do not drag the yogurt layer
  • If you prefer sweeter bars, drizzle additional melted honey over the berries before freezing
